Back to Work

So, I had to go back to work today, and I was so sad. Brian is home working around the house and Izzy is at the sitters. Brian painted our living room and it fixing all the baseboards. What a great handyman, I mean husband. :) I of course had to take Izzy to the sitter because there would be no way of me getting work done with both her and Brian being home.

She is getting her two bottom teeth. I say they pop out by end of next week or possibly sooner.

Oh, let me talk about Christmas. She got spoiled. I mean spoiled! She got gifts from books to a pink rocking pony that makes pony and galloping noises. It's super cute. She's isn't too interested in it, but give her time. She loves her music table that mommy and daddy got her. I will post some pictures taken Christmas day sometime. Or I may go a month before posting another blog. I am horrible with keeping up with my blog. I have so many journals going. I have this blog, my baby journal, Izzy's scrap book, and then another journal that I started from the first day I found out I was pregnant, so I sometimes forget about posting a blog if I don't upload pictures. Maybe I will make it my new year resolution to keep my blog up to date! Everyone cross their fingers.

Happy New Years!

Izzy and Santa

We went to see Santa today. Izzy didn't smile for the picture, but she wasn't scared of Santa. She was curious about his beard. She also sat with Ms. Claus. I finally got a bow in her hair. She looked so darn cute too! Tomorrow will be Izzy's first Christmas. I am sure she will love the wrapping paper. No teeth yet, but we think they will be here mid Janurary or maybe sooner. Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Holidays

I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. This year went so incredibly fast. Izzy will be 9 months old in two weeks, she will be walking and talking in no time. She's been giving high fives and kisses, but she has to be in the right mood. Everything is based off my daughters moods. She has a "look at me mood", "a I want to be held all the time mood" and the worst " I don't want to be bothered mood." They are all cute to me because it's so amazing how babies can have so many moods.

She still hasn't gotten a tooth in yet, but I am hoping she will have one before her 1st birthday. We told her that she couldn't walk until she got a tooth in. That hasn't worked. As much as she stands and holds onto things without losing her balance, she will probably be walking by February. She is obsessed with pulling books off our bookshelf. She just laughs and giggles every time she gets a book down. Again, it's cute to watch.

We took at home Christmas pictures and for us not being able to have someone take the picture for us, it only took about 4 tries. I wanted to get a picture of Izzy showing off her whole dress and shoes, but she kept taking off her shoes and then tried taking off her tights, but poor girl couldn't figure out that they weren't socks. She just kept trying.

Enjoy the new pictures!

Eight Months

OMG! Izzy is going to be 8 months old on Wednesday. Where has the time gone? I don't have any pictures to upload right now, but I thought I would blog to let you know how she was doing and what cute things she is has been doing lately.

Isabella is now saying "Da da." I truely believe she knows what she is saying too. She also waves a little. She has to be in a certain mood for that. I definately can say that she is in her giggling and laughing at everything stage. I could be feeding her and just look at her differently and she chuckles. She is very tickelish. Still looking like daddy. :( I mean, I am not saying that Brian isn't good looking, but come on now, she's a girl, she should like her mommy!

She is battling a cold right now. I call her "Miss Snotty." I think she is getting over it slowly. I am sick as well, but I guess that happens when you can't stop kissing your baby and holding them. She is just so darn cute!

Halloween Pictures and Just Izzy being Izzy

My little girl is growing up so fast. She has crawling down to the T and now she trys to stand. I don't think we have the best furniture to help her with pulling herself up, but she pulls herself up and stands for a good 2 minutes or so on her basket. She was a little flower for Halloween and her cousins were Elmo and a black cat. She enjoyed being pulled in a wagon by her uncle Scott, but it was too cold to stay out too long. I have this feeling she might be getting a tooth in because she is drooling so much and well today she just wasn't herself. She was really crabby, but then again, she had a long weekend. She is starting to get brave and explore all the rooms and get her hands on anything she can reach. I sure am getting my workout. I don't think I am going to survive when she starts walking!

More pictures to Enjoy

Isabella is just getting cuter by the minute. She is very curious about everything. She is already trying to stand up. I wish I could stop time for a few months so I can enjoy every moment. She will be walking in no time.

SHE'S CRAWLING

Oh, who would have thought that watching a baby crawl would just make you smile so much? Izzy started to crawl last week! She crawls to her toy box and takes every toy out of it and then sits on her knees and plays with one toy. Brian suggested we just get a big box and put a bunch of random items in it and it would keep her entertained. I love it when she crawls to me. When she starts to cry she crawls to me, when she sees me she crawls to me, well that's if she isn't into something. :) I will post some pictures up once I get some time.

Growing Up and Growing Up Fast

Isabella will be 7 months old next Sunday and she has now discovered that she can sit up. Last Friday she would try so hard, but would fall over everytime. Now she does it like she has been doing it for months. She tried breaking out of her crib the first night she knew she could do more than sleep in her crib. Our little girl is just growing up and growing up fast!

She's getting so big

Another month has passed. I can't believe Izzy will be 6 months old this month. She is rolling all over the place and is more curious then ever. We have her eating solids and she is great with a spoon. She likes tummy time so much, that she now sleeps on her belly. Not mommy's choice, but if I attempt to move her, she fusses and rolls right back over. I guess her head will finally start rounding out since she isn't laying on her back as much as she used to. Actually, I don't think she is ever on her back anymore.

She attempts to crawl. Poor girl can only go backwards. Head diving is the new thing now. No bruses yet, but I fear that one day she is going to hit the floor too hard and get a shiner. She will still be adorable. We put her in a high chair at a restuarant for the first time this past Thursday. She did so well. Her eyes just wandered and of course she tried grabbing everything.

College football just started and Purdue plays today. Daddy wants her to wear her Purdue onesie to my goddaughters birthday party, but I have to put my foot down and dressing her in a really cute Amy Coe dress. There will definately be pictures.

Enjoy

We finally did It!

July 31st, I finally got the guts to get Izzy's ears peirced. We figured she was going to get them peirced sooner or later, so why not now. I did why my best friend told me to do and that was take a bottle and as soon as they peirced her ears, give her the bottle. It worked. Yeah, she felt some pain, but she got over it in like 5 minutes. Now she has some ice on her ears. :) My little girl is growing up. She will be 5 months old in a couple of weeks. She is entertaining herself a lot better now and she just amazes me with her curiousity. I still get bummed out when I have to take her to the sitter on Mondays. During the week it's not that hard, but Sundays just get to me.

Grandma and Grandpa Brandenburg watched her for me today for the first time. She did awesome of course. I finally got to clean the house the way I used to before I had Izzy. She is actually playing with my hands as I type this blog.
